넘버블럭스 시즌 3 에피소드 9 : Peekaboo!

어느 날 갑자기 우리 아이 유튜브 알고리즘에 뜬 넘버블럭스. 그 중에서도 시즌 3 에피소드 9, Peekaboo 편이 최근에 자주 떠서 우리 가족 모두 흥얼거리는데 가사를 정확히 본 적이 없어서 이참에 가사를 외우려고 정리했다. 우리가 봐도 재미있는 넘버블럭스! 영상을 보며 자연스럽게 수 감각을 익히게 되어 왠만한 수학 교재보다 좋은 듯 하다. 더불어 영어로 된 영상이라 영어 노출도 할 수 있다는 점…!

넘버블럭스 : S3 E9 Peekaboo!

Peekaboo 편은 숫자의 크고, 작음을 알려준다.

어떤 숫자가 작은지 각각의 숫자 블럭들이 친구 뒤에 숨고, 친구를 숨겨주는 상황을 통해 어떤 숫자가 크고, 어떤 숫자가 작은지 알 수 있다. 여기에서는 1부터 10까지 나온다.

*1은 2보다 작아서 2 뒤에 숨을 수 있다.
*1 더하기 2는 3이라서 3 뒤에 숨을 수 있다.
*6은 커서 4 침대에 누울 수 없지만 10 침대에는 누울 수 있다.

아이가 영어를 100% 이해하지는 못하겠지만 영상과 상황을 보며 어느 정도 파악하고 있다. 자석블럭으로 스스로 숫자블럭을 만들어 가며 영상에 나오는 상황을 재연하니 머릿속에 수 개념이 자연스럽게 인식 될 것 같다.

크고 작다는 뜻의 영어 표현도 다양하게 나온다.
